My Story
After 29 years as an engineer and technical writer, I dove into fiction writing in 2018, learning all I could from YouTube and books on the craft. Now seven novels in, I hope to encourage other aspiring writers by showing them it is never too late to start!
My favorite authors are Carl Hiassen and Janet Evanovich, as I love their quick-paced stories and colorful characters. My goal is to write stories that similarly entertain, tickle, and surprise my readers.
In July 2020, my debut novel, Antigenesis, was named a Finalist of the National Indie Excellence Awards in the political thriller category. In May 2021, Johnnie Finds a Dead Body (first book of the Johnnie series) was a finalist in the NIEA comedy category.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy running, painting, crafting, watching way too many hours of YouTube, and entertaining my often ornery, yet always lovable, Maine Coon cat Tiger.
